Group Exercise Classes
 

Group Exercise Classes are included in KCH Health & Wellness Center membership. Members can sign-up monthly for the classes that they wish to attend. Sign-ups are limited to ensure that classes are not overcrowded. Please call 574-372-7890 for a current list of classes, class times and availability. Non-members may join unlimited classes monthly (except yoga) for $35.00 per month. Unlimited yoga classes are available to non-members for $35.00 per month. Click here for a class schedule.

Classes Include:

Yoga I
This 60-minute class consists of a warm-up, work phase, and cool-down.  Students can expect to build strength and increase flexibility utilizing all major muscle groups, while focusing on breathing.

Mixed Level Yoga
This class will build upon Yoga I and will incorporate poses and postures from Yoga levels II and III.  Participants can expect to build strength and flexibility while further focusing on the breath to bring the mind and body together.

Yoga Core-Strength
This class focuses on developing functional strength, flexibility, and endurance in all major muscle groups, emphasizing core-stabilizing muscles.  Yoga poses are combined using athletic, active, and flowing sequences.  Fitness movements such as squats, push-ups, and lunges are added for greater overall body conditioning.

Senior Fit
This 60-minute class is for older adults.  Class time will be spent walking the track, strengthening muscles with weight and band exercises, and stretching.  The cost is $1 per participant per class.

Boot Camp
This 60-minute class will challenge your body in new and exciting ways.  Instructors will use a combination of weights, bands, cardiovascular, and callisthenic exercises.  If you are looking to add variety to your program, this is the class for you.

No Equipment Needed
Think exercise equipment is too expensive?  No Equipment Needed will provided a challenging workout with just your body weight.  Expect heart pumping, muscle toning, and calorie torching fun that you can do at home.

ABT Training
Tone and condition those "problem areas" in abs, butt, and thigh training.

Circuit Blast
Jump from station to station for an intense calorie burning and strength training workout.  Be prepared to challenge yourself with Bosu balls, jump ropes, gliders, agility ladders, and more.
