The KCH Medical Imaging Department wants you to be VERY SATISFIED and we are committed to the pursuit of quality care. We operate excellent imaging equipment and maintain multiple national quality certifications and accreditations. All of our professional imaging staff are nationally certified and we maintain strict adherence to state licensing regulations.
KCH partners with Ft. Wayne group, Summit Radiology, for interpretation services. The Medical Imaging Department offers a wide range of services for inpatients, outpatients and emergency department patients.
Kosciusko Community Hospital recognizes that diagnostic imaging studies are a very important tool used in the diagnosis and management of patients. We strive to provide same-day service for medically urgent and emergent needs. Insurance verification typically requires 2 to 3 days on all other outpatient service procedures.
A physician's order is required by state law and/or hospital policy to order most of the imaging services. You do not need a physician’s order for the CardioRisk test or screening mammogram. All appointments are scheduled through the KCH Centralized Scheduling Department at 574-372-7601.

PICTURE ARCHIVAL & COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM (PACS)KCH Imaging Department operates utilizing PACS technology. The integration of this technology has transitioned our department to a computer-based operation. Imaging studies no longer produce film records. Imaging studies can be reviewed from computer systems within KCH, and physicians can request web application access to the PACS from their offices and homes. Computer CDs can be produced to meet patient/physician requests for image release.
