Kosciusko Community Hospital recognizes that childbirth is a very important family event. Nearly 900 deliveries occur each year in the Birthplace Maternity Center and each one is a special occasion.
If you are having a baby or considering it in the future, stop by anytime for a tour of the Birthplace. The nurses in the Birthplace would love to show you and your family our new maternity department.
The new Birthplace maternity department includes four labor/delivery/recovery (LDR) rooms, ten private patient rooms, a surgical/recovery suite, and a nursery.
A variety of educational opportunities are available for expectant mothers and their families. Classes on prepared childbirth and breastfeeding are included. Click here to review the Baby Steps brochure on breastfeeding.
If Your're Going Away...
You have probably made provisions for someone to care for your children not traveling with you. To help you with these arrangements, Kosciusko Community Hospital is providing this consent form and medical data questionnaire which will be valuable should your child be ill or injured while you are away.
